Herkunft
Unearthed from a basalt midden along the Hollowshade frontier, where the marsh gives way to the Forged Vale. The relic was found face-out, hammered to the charred lintel of a hall that no longer remembered its own name.
Two horns sweep upward from a faceted dome, ridged at the base by rivet-bound collars whose iron-toothed grates once vented the breath of something that had stopped breathing willingly. The visor is a vortex-carved slit, narrowed to a downward spine that splits the face into mirrored halves. Cheek plates fall like cleaved tusks. Across every facet, ash-black and oxidized crimson run in banded striations. Sigils painted in clotted iron, or scars burned in by oath. Each band remembers a blow.
