The BonePit Crest

The Gorehusk were buried face-up so the dirt could never make them kneel. The wardens set dogs at the pits to keep that dirt where it was, and called each dog by the ground it held. Bone pit. A bark carries down into the ground out there, so the wardens sewed the jaws shut and painted the dogs for mourning so the buried would know whose side they were on. This one outlasted every warden who fed it. It kept count of every hand that reached for the pits. Some of those hands are still down there with the Gorehusk.

Printed in full color in a single build. The ink sits down in the layers with the bone and runs all the way through.
