The VoidFang Sentinel

This mask was not carved. It was remembered — pulled from the gap between the waking world and whatever hunts at its edges. The VoidFang Sentinel fuses two predators into one unbroken form: a feline skull broad as a war-shield, its brow erupting in dragon-spine quills that rake upward like a war-crown, and below the muzzle — grafted, not added — the horned, fang-heavy visage of a hannya oni, jaw unhinged in a roar that reads less like rage and more like a warning. Bone-white horns arc from each temple. The eyes are deep-set and hollow, burning green in the color-stacked depths of the face. Every layer of this piece is a stripe of intent: crimson banding over black over bone, the filament shifts reading as ritual marks rather than print artifacts. Whatever shrine this guarded has long since collapsed. The mask remained. It does not protect what's behind it — it threatens what approaches from the front. Forged in the necro-forge specifically to push color-stacking into tension — the striation pattern follows the anatomy, every ridge and quill its own chromatic signature.
