Recovered from the deep timber of Skullwood, where the canopy blocks all light and the Devil's Root claws upward from the soil.
The gnarled trunk is woven with skeletal remains, bark and bone fused by centuries of dark growth, every tendril worked in deep relief. Skulls are embedded in the root system where the forest grew through them and did not let go. The shadow play across it shifts as the light moves, which is the only way it has ever been lit.
