Recovered from the Deep Vaults, cut loose from a reliquary wall two chambers below the stair. The web came away whole. The thing sitting on it did not object.
Eight legs banded red over black. A horned head with four pale eyes that catch light from nowhere. The abdomen carries a diamond of bone set inside a blood line, and the whole body reads in flat stacked bands, the way the ground writes on anything left down long enough. The web is spun in ridged bone thread, every strand drawn to a point where it meets the frame.
